About the Organisation
The International Journal of Human Rights Law Review (IJHRLR) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary international law journal committed to promoting high-quality legal scholarship, interdisciplinary research, and contemporary policy discourse. Operating under the aegis of Lexassisto Strategic Legal Advisors LLP, the Journal provides a platform for researchers, academicians, legal professionals, and students to contribute to meaningful discussions on law, governance, human rights, technology, public policy, and socio-economic justice.
The internship is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to legal research, academic writing, journal editorial processes, policy analysis, citation techniques, and publication ethics, while working under the guidance of experienced academicians and legal professionals.
Eligibility / Qualifications

- Individuals interested in legal research and academic publishing
Applicants should possess:
- Good legal research and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of legal citation methods.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Commitment to academic integrity and originality.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
Selected interns will be involved in:
- Conducting doctrinal and interdisciplinary legal research.
- Drafting scholarly research papers and policy briefs.
- Preparing judicial case commentaries and legislative analyses.
- Reviewing books and contemporary legal developments.
- Assisting in manuscript screening and editorial review.
- Verifying citations and references (ILI/OSCOLA/Bluebook where applicable).
- Performing plagiarism and formatting checks.
- Supporting publication and journal management activities.
- Preparing newsletters, legal updates, and research summaries.
- Participating in weekly academic assignments and feedback sessions.

Remote / Online (Work from Home)

Work Timings
- Flexible Working Hours
- Expected Commitment: 10–12 hours per week
- Weekly assignments and editorial tasks will be communicated through email.

Salary / Stipend
This is an unpaid internship.
However, selected interns will receive:
- Certificate of Completion (subject to satisfactory performance).
- Letter of Recommendation (for exceptional performers).
- Opportunity to have outstanding work considered for publication (subject to editorial review).
- Editorial mentoring and feedback from the Editorial Board.
- Practical exposure to academic publishing and legal research.
